In the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic, MiddleGround Capital needed to find a way to feature each of their 6 platform companies in their first-ever virtual annual meeting. MGC contacted 51 Labs with this challenge: shoot 6 different portfolio company videos in 6 states across a period of only 6 weeks. Directing virtually and hiring locally, 51 Labs created 6 dynamic, high-quality videos that featured both the sparks on the factory floor and the sparks in the CEOs’ eyes as they talked about the impact MGC had on their growth. Escaping the boring convention of most 2020 annual meetings, MiddleGround was able to do their exciting portfolio justice.
Based in NYC, Peyton is an ex-Texan with a background in creative technology, brand strategy, and customer service. Prior to 51 Labs, she was a design assistant to a Brooklyn based textile artist and a founding employee of a tech startup. In her free time, she enjoys going to art museums, listening to podcasts, and watching The Golden Girls with her cat.
Mason has been with 51 Labs since June 2021 as a Marketing Associate. Born and raised in an entrepreneurial family, Mason knows the hard work and dedication it takes for a business to succeed. If he’s not in the office, you can probably find him on a hiking trail, at a brewery, or at an Atlanta Braves baseball game.
Charlie has been with 51 Labs since the summer of 2020, when he initially joined as a Creative Strategist. Proud holder of the unofficial title: “Most Convoluted Path to M&A Marketing”. Native Texan, Bachelors of Music in Music Theatre from Baldwin Wallace University, certified WSET-2 wine scholar, composer and performer.
